NSDAR Genealogical Research System

 The organization was founded in 1890 with the mission of promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. These timeless, overarching principles keep the DAR strong and vitally relevant in this ever-changing world. 

 The Louisiana State Society of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was founded in 1895 and has nearly 3,000 members and 43 chapters located 

throughout the state.
